Application:
Aluminum-clad wire is designed for overhead secondary distribution
lines. Covered wires are not electrically insulated conductors and
are considered bare conductors when installed. The insulating layer
prevents the circuit from being interrupted due to weather.
Construction:
Phase conductor: aluminum stranded(AAC)
Neutral conductor: aluminum stranded(AAC), aluminum alloy
stranded(AAAC), Aluminum conductor steel reinforced(ACSR)
Insulation: PVC, XLPE, PE or LDPE
Technical data:
The maximum temperature of the conductor: under normal (90°C),
emergency (130°C) or short-circuit conditions for no more than 5
seconds (250°C).
Minimum ambient temperature: When the ambient temperature is lower
than 0℃, the cable needs to be preheated
Minimum bending radius: single-core cable 20 (d + D) ± 5%
Multi-core cable 15(d+D)±5%
